About the event
Join us for a one-hour conversation with frontline communication teams in Uganda and the Democratic Republic of the Congo who are using evidence-based multimedia and multilingual content (animations, songs, short messages) through SMS, WhatsApp, radio, and television to deliver trusted, life-saving Ebola prevention messages.
This work is part of a broader effort led by Harper Hill Global to expand this proven communication strategy through interfaith coalitions across both countries.
Together, we are equipping and training faith-based communicators—from any religious background—with the content, skills, and resources they need to reach their communities with accurate, culturally relevant Ebola prevention messages. The goal is to help cover entire regions in a “blanket of protection” through trusted local voices.
This effort also includes deploying portable classrooms—equipped with a laptop, speaker, projector, solar generator, and screen—so that life-saving education can reach even the most remote communities.
In this session, you will:
Hear directly from frontline teams…
