Congo Women Arise is a communications campaign led by Harper Hill Global, that aims to combat stigma due to rape in East Congo, and that seeks funding for the “Mama Lynn Center” – a facility located in Kindu, DRCongo to provide care and facilitate reunification with family and society. Partners include four annual conferences of The United Methodist Church: California Pacific, Memphis, Tennessee, and East Congo Episcopal Area; the WiseHeart Foundation, Chocolate Moose Media and Disciple Design. Using a 360 communications approach, videos were produced in four languages: English, French, Otetela, and Swahili to build mutuality and respect among all partners, and to share common messaging within diverse contexts.
