Dan Kalau was born and raised in Likasi, Democratic Republic of Congo. He moved to East Texas to further his education and graduated in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a minor in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Tyler. He currently works as an Electrical Engineer at SSR Inc.
A servant-leader at heart, Dan previously served as the President of the Congolese Community of San Antonio (CCSA) for a year before moving to Nashville, TN to marry his wife Junie.
He is a lifelong United Methodist and currently a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church.
Dan enjoys reading, running, and learning. He is a member of a local Toastmaster club where he develops his leadership skills.
